Allison Simmons, Public Relations Associate, brings a blend of public involvement and engineering to ASC. During her tenure as the Acting Public Information Officer with the New York State Department of Transportation (Region 8 - Hudson Valley), she organized press events, served as the region's media contact and participated in public outreach campaigns. She has worked with a wide range of media outlets, including the New York Times, Newsday and Fox News. Allison also worked in the Planning and Highway Design departments at the NYSDOT, producing contract plans and maintaining the data for the region's $750 million, Five-Year Capital Program. She is currently assisting clients with various levels of website upgrades and Section 508 compliance. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the College of New Rochelle.
