Cyd Averill, Communications Specialist and Copywriter, has more than 20 years experience in communications, delivering engaging, accurate and effective print and web copy for a diverse roster of non-profit and corporate clients. Cyd is the senior web writer for the new Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) website, providing content that repositions the organization as a major mobility provider. She is also the lead writer on a national media outreach for the US EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership, working with Partner companies to place compelling stories highlighting their commitment to improving air quality. She has also delivered web content to corporate clients such as Arm & Hammer, Smart Ones, Heinz, Arrid and First Response. Cyd earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
