ASC's strategic communications program generated a 14% ridership increase for New York's Capital Region transit authority. A region wide public awareness campaign to introduce a simplified fare structure made riding the bus fun, with bus stop contests, driver education games, on-board guides, media outreach and advertising, resulting in satisfied customers, endorsement from the region's legislators and media, and a national award of excellence.
